Gardening vs Quilting

Long time no blog.... Here on the coast of NC, SPRING has arrived. I've never seen the grass green up so rapidly or the Japanese Maples leaf out so quickly! Yikes! No time for sewing, I need to plant annuals, fertilize, prune, pull weeds.... huff and puff... that's what I'm busy with.

  1. Ours is getting a late start... had a dusting of snow when I got up today. Very strange weather. Happy gardening... be sure to sneak a bit of quilting in there too. It's good for the soul.

  2. Spring looks like it's here but I know better than to chance it. I bought some bulbs and grass seed but March and April are usually our snowiest months. I watch the plum tree and the lilacs budding and just hope that we don't get a heavy snow now. I'd love to see some beautiful blooms soon.
